Journal Response to Reading.
The tale can be told inside the confines of a game's level. The idea of using space to tell a good story isn't new; it's been used in architectural design over centuries. I discovered that theme parks had the answers to several questions about how to both tell a story and instruct players. Thinking from the top down helps me approach a game environment to decide what the boundaries are and what lives beyond them; to do that, you'll need to create a game world map. The level itself, similar to a game map, can assist players in moving from one plot point to the next.
